Can Benicar, Niacin, Red Ginseng And L-arginine Be Taken Together?

i think i am having an allergic reaction to medications and supplements I m taking(obviously stopped now). My med is Benicar 12.5 mg and the supplements are niacin, red ginseng, and L-arginine. Would this cause a reaction? I am allergic to ACE inhibitors. Thank you

Dear- thanks for using HCM, although you did not describe what allergic reaction you are having, I wanted to clarify that taking all the medications together don't produce an allergic reaction. If your allergy to ACE was angioedema or swollen lips, that can happen with Benicar too, because it is related to ACE. If you had face flushing, most likely was from Niacin, at it was not an allergy but a side effect of the medication. It is good that you stooped all of them but you need to talk to your doctor, specially because Benicar is a blood pressure medication and you might need another in order to control your blood pressure.
