Can Bisoprolol Hydrochlorothiazide Be Discontinued Cold Turkey?
i have just quit taking Bisoprolol/Hctz tabs 2.5/6.25 4 days ago. My heart rate was very slow. The main reason for taking this was to reduce panic attacks. I have not taken any other medication (doctor prescribed 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide which I have not taken yet since my blood pressure seems very good (I am taking my pressure several times a day). Is there danger in stopping cold turkey or should she have tapered me off of this?

There is not a danger to stop Bisoprolol and Hydroclorthyaside cold turkey if they are used for panic attacks as you say. Hydroclorthyaside is not used for panic attacks. If you use them to normalize blood pressure then the pressure will be elevated when you stop it.
