Can Blastocystis Hominis Infection Affect Breast Milk Production?
Hello I have Blastocystis Hominis, and I suspect leaky gut, as well as Coeliac and Graves. I m breastfeeding my 3mo and would like to continue until he is 12mo. My question is, how does the Blasto bug affect the nutritional quality of my breast milk? Is there anything I can do to get rid of it or reduce it while breastfeeding? Thank you Antonia

You might require antibiotics to cure the infection. In that case, breastfeeds has to be withheld because antibiotics might be secreted in the breast milk.
