Can Blephamide And Sulfacetamide Be Used For Painful Stye In Lower Eyelid?
I just had a chalazion removed by an opthalamologist and now 5 weeks later I have a stye on my lower eyelid and within my lower lid. It doesn t feel the same because this time in hurts. I have an appt for my dr to see it next week. I have left over blephamide and sulfacetamide left from my previous treatment. Can I begin using either of these while I am waiting.
Hi, It seems that you might be having infected stye giving this problem. You can put Blephamide or sulfacetamide eye drops 3-4 times a day till you consult your ophthalmologist. You might require one course of oral antibiotic medicine as well. Ok and take care.
