Can Bufferin Be Taken For Headaches While On Morphine Sulfate And Diclofenac?
hello, i have been taking twicea day 100mg of morphine sulphate for neuropothy issue and twice a day 2 diclofenac na 75 mg ec tab for lower disc injury, i have been taking these together for about 2 months. i have a pretty good headache from what appears to be allergies... can i take a bufferin or tylenol without any harm ? or is there something I can take to relieve this headache?
Taking Tylenol with your other medications would be safe, but I would advise against using Ibuprofen, since it is the same type of medication as diclofenac, and too much can cause side effects, sometimes serious.
However, if your headache is from allergies, and you have nasal congestion as well, taking an antihistamine such as Claritin, or a nasal steroid spray such as Flonase, may help more than the Tylenol.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
