Can Chlamydia Show Up 2 Years After Sex?
Hi! I just received my results and I tested positive for Chlamydia. My boyfriend tested negative and he is blaming me. How is this possible? I never cheated on him. However, I did have two other partners 2 years ago. Could I have gotten it then and it barely come out positive now?

Interpretation of Chlamydia infection depends on the antibodies which turned out to be positive.
Ig M antibodies are reactive if the infection is acute and Ig G antibodies are reactive in case of past infection.
Thus, a past Chlamydial infection can cause Ig M antibodies to be raised.
