Can Chloraseptic Spray Cause False Positive On A Alcohol Test?

I recently had a alcohol test...I have not consumed any alcohol in weeks but my test came back showing the I had used alcohol.. The only thing I can think of that I have been using different is a throat spray call Chlorasptic sore throat spray. Can this give off a reading of use of alcohol?

Chloroseptic is not known to contain alcohol and cause false positive readings but there are other medications that can have this effect.

You should review any over the counter, herbal or traditional medications that you may be taking that may have caused this problem for you.
