Can Chlorpheniramine Be Taken While On Cymbalta?
Thank you. My doctor has just put me on Cymbalta 20 mg. for assistance with pain due to rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. I have just gotten an extremely runny nose and am looking to stop it before a social event tomorrow. I am wondering if it is safe to take Chlorpheniramine for this purpose--just for a day or so.

There are no known interactions between cymbalta and chloropheniramine.
They can be used safely together
Runny nose would usually require the use of a decongestant along with an antihistamine eg sudafed or you can use a combination such as benadryl d, allegra d, claritine d, zyrtec d
