Can Cilazapril, Aspirin And Atorvastatin Cause Difficulty In Achieving Orgasm?
Good afternoon. I have been prescribed cliazopril, aspirin and atorvastatin for blood pressure and over a long period of time now I have had the inability to have an orgasm. Are any of these three liely to be a cause either directly or by way of pectoral muscle relaxants casueing my problem?
Medications for hypertension commonly affect the libido and may cause orgasm issues. Some patients using atorvastatin have complains about the loss of libido. You are suggested to consult your treating doctor. Do not stop any medications by yourself.
If you are having ED you should inform your doctor so that the doses of the medications you are taking can be monitored & treatment may be given for your present issues.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
