Can Cipro 500mg For Eye Infection Cause Sleepiness And Elevated BP?

I just took my blood pressure and it was 155/122 I noticed I wasn t feeling very well but not real bad I went to Dr yesterday for an eye infection and they aren t sure what it is and put me on Cipro 500 mg and there has been no change in my eye and I m just so sleepy.

Your blood pressure has increased and you are sleepless primarily because of worry and anxiety. Cipro 500 is an antibiotic, which cures infection. It is not known to affect sleep or alter blood pressure.
