Can Ciprodex And Ceftin Ear Drops Be Used Together?

I had some ciprodex ear drops so I used those for a right ear outer and middle ear infection until I was able to go see a doctor at the walk in clinic. He ordered ceftin 250 q12hours x 10 days. Do I need to stop the ciprodex ear drops and wait to start the Ceftin....are they compatible?
