Can Ciprofloxacin Cause Joint Discomfort?

I was on a regimen of Cipro for a UTI. Although I have taken this med before - this time I started experiencing HA - joint discomfort - tingling and numbness - etc. My PCP said to hold it then let him know if I had any more problems. (Beginning of a long holiday week end.) I had 6 doses of the Cipro so yesterday AM was my last dose. I still feel weird today so I am wondering how long it takes to clear my system. I am 77 years old.
