Could vertigo be caused from taking a medicatidon - specifically Cirofloxacin - took same for about a week then started too feel lightheaded and dizzy - not sure if it is vertigo or an allergy to medication - stopped taking same about 6 days ago but still very lightheaded and slightly dizzy - fine as long as I don't move around too much
Dizziness due to Ciprofloxacin is possible as a side effect; it has been reported in literature. But dizziness can be caused by many factors; apart from drug induced causes there are other causes related to generalised weakness, eye problems, inner ear conditions, blood conditions and many more. If you have stopped the medication and still you have dizziness after a week, it could be because of other causes too.
