Can Citicoline Be Given For HIE II In Infants?

My 1 year old baby has developmental delay problem(HIE II), because of delayed cry during birth. As I have consulted to pediatric neurologist, he suggested to give medicine citicoline oral drop 2 ml twice a day, but in medicine, it is recommended that this is not for child. Can I give this medicine??

I really appreciate your concern, once the medicine being prescribed it means it has to be given as per the advise and if it creates the doubts then it has to be discuss with doctor pharmaceutical company has to follow certain norms but doctor has to see the clinical condition and cure of disease hope this information helps.
