Can Codeine Cough Syrup Be Taken Along With Metformin, Voglibose And Telmisartan?

Hi. My mother in law has severe cough that comes especially when she lies down since the last one week. No fever. Shes taking metformin, voglibose and telmisartan for diabetes and blood pressure respectively. Can she safely have cough syrup with codeine in it?

there is no contraindication of cough syrup containing codine along with mentioned drugs.these drugs are commonly used to treat diabetes and hypertension.
