Can Colcrys And Indomethacin Be Taken While On Hydrochlorothiazide?
My husband is currently on hydrochlorothiazide in the morning and lisinopril at night for high blood pressure. He now has gout and should he take colcrys or indomethacin for his gout? He only has one kidney due to having his right kidney removed in 1998 due to having kidney cancer. Thank you for your advise.

Single kidney patients are better to avoid indomethacin or other NSAIDs unless it is severe pain.
It may lead to kidney injury. febuxostat or allopurinol may be used. Colchicine and indomethacin is the second choice of drugs.
How much is serum creatinine?? how much is uric acid? But between colchicine and indomethacin, fewer interactions noted.
