Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I m 10 weeks pregnant. I m taking cor 3 tab since my 4th week but due to some co confusion in reading the prescription I have been taking cor 3 tab twice a day whereas it is prescribed once a day. I m worried now. Is it harmful to take twice a day..
Cor 3 Tablet contains L-Methylfolate, Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine as active ingredients. Cor 3 is used in several conditions such as low folate levels, anemia, clogged arteries neurological disorders etc.
Although there are no major side effects of taking Cor 3 twice daily anyway it is more than normal dose which is not needed especially if you are pregnant. I will suggest following your doctor's prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
