Can Cortisone Cream Be Used For Contact Dermatitis In The Groin Area?
I came out of the shower yesterday using a certain shampoo to clean my groin and penis. The tip and skin of my penis are now red, dry and irritated (There is no pain and no blistering). Since I am fairly certain I do not have an STD and this occurred almost immediately after using this product (I think I left it on my penis and testicles) for too long I believe this is some form of contact dermatitis. Would a cortisone cream be safe to put on my penis? Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks, Michael.

Can Cortisone Cream Be Used For Contact Dermatitis In The Groin Area?
hi. thank you for posting query. yes, its reasonable to use. apply a little , gently, on affected surface and wait for 5 minutes. if no reaction, then you may continue to use. if no healing within 2 to 3 days, better to visit treating urologist/ dermatologist. wish you good and sound health. regards Dr Tayyab Malik
