Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i had a wound that was stiched by a doctor and since the stitch did not settle the same was removed and the dead cells were scrapped and put on antibiotics.now the wound was shown to dr now he told just leave the wound open and apply derma dew. sir will it heal the wound
As per your query you have wound which is in healing stage . Well if doctor told you to leave the wound open then leave it open because it can help it become dry and heal quickly . I would suggest you to keep it clean , do not touch it with your hands and start taking vitamin C for quick healing of wound .If it doesn't get healed in few days or get worse then again consult doctor . Doctor will clean it with hydrogen peroxude and prescribe further antibiotic course .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
