Can Deviry Cause Liver Disease?
Hi, i have PCOD problem since 15 year of my age. Last five year i take familon. Now last six month my SGPT & SGOT are very high but Bilirubin is normal. I have consult a dr., he said me for don t take familion tablet. For this i don t take this medicine but my petiod stop last 3 month. Then i go gynocologist. He prescrib me deviry 10 mg. Is it safe ny liver problem? Can i take it regularly for continuty for period?

I really appreciate your concern, if the liver enzymes being high in system so it may not be due to hormone drug but underlying cause of this first need to be ruled out and it may be hepatic pathology may be infection, injury, and others, else taking hormone medicine can not cause any liver disease but it need to be avoided in presence of liver pathology, hope this information helps.
