Can Dexamethasone And Phenergan Be Taken While On Ambien?

I took ambien at 10:15 pm. I wook up At 1:15am with migraine symptoms and want to take my medication. I take a combination of fioricet w/codeine, dexamethasone and phenergan for migraine. Is it safe to take these meds 3 hours after taking the ambien?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It's not safe to take Phenergan and Fioricet (with Codeine) while on Ambien. Taking opioid medications like Codeine together with other medications like Ambien or Fioricet (with Codeine) that also cause central nervous system depression can lead to serious side effects including respiratory distress, coma, and even death. Consult your doctor for alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use these medications. Taking Phenergan together with Ambien or Codeine may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, impaired concentration or thinking and motor coordination which may result in falls and injuries.
