Can Diclofenac Tablet Be Taken To Relieve Back Pain With History Of Back Surgery?
I have had back surgery one year ago and although surgery was successful, some pain returned about 6 months later. I have taken percoset in past (only 2 5mgs daily) but my Dr. is away and I would like to take a diclofenac which my husband has Can I do this for two days until my Dr. returns
Hello, Thank you for asking at HCM. I carefully read your question and understand your concern. If you are not allergic to diclofnac and have no chronic problems with with the stomach and no kidney problems you can use diclofenac to help with pain. Make sure you take it after food and not exceed 150 mg/day in total in 2 divided doses (not more than 70 mg in the morning and 70 mg in the evening) and if stomach pain or allergic reaction you will need to stop it. Make sure you see your doctor as soon as possible also so you have an evaluation and a prescription for your pain. Hope this is helpful and answers to your question
