Can Dicyclomine 20 Mg, Tizanidine 2mg, Meclizine 12.5 Mg Cause Weakness?
dicyclomine 20 mg, tizanidine 2mg, meclizine, 12.5 mg. These meds go along with other meds or 14 other pills I take for a conciliation of medical problems. Today I fell and could not get up. I was devoid of any muscle or strength. Do these meds contribute? I ve had spinal surgery for stenosis.
Meclizine is an antihistamine, it has side effects like severe dizziness, trouble breathing, allergic reaction or swelling of the tongue, etc. When you take antihistamines you should stay at rest, avoid walking or driving. It can cause weakness due to dizziness. You should report to the treating doctor if you have these symptoms so that the medicines can be changed with those that suit you better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
