Hi I got recently diagnosed with Pityriasis Lichenoides by my dematologist through observation of clinical appearance. I believe it is the acute form (PLEVA) as the small papules erupted and it developed into blisters and some crusted into dark brown spots. There is no stopping to my eruption of papules. It has been a month, papules has populated my trunk, back inner thigh, waist and butt cheeks. Just recently it has spread to my neck and even one below my eye. The most worrying thing is tiny crusted spots were found on my genital foreskin. Should I be concern? Is the diagnosis correct or is it something far worse? My dematologist has given me doxycycline to be taken once a day. I am on my 8th day, and there are still no stopping of the papules. 1. Crusted spots on my genital foreskin, and below my eye and on my neck, is this normal? 2. How can I confirm my diagnosis or is it something worse? 3. How does doxycycline helps with Pityriasis Lichenoides? 4. How can I stop papules from forming? Despearately needing help. Regards, BC
