Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have very mild asthma. Occasionally use an inhaler, but not on medication. Approximately three or four weeks ago was put on Dulera. The medication is creating extreme anxiety, so that I am having to take medication for that. Sometimes I feel quite faint and my right arm begins to tingle from the shoulder to the fingers. Can I discontinue using Dulera? I really do not like the side effects I am experiencing since taking this drug. I have a breating test on Jan 2 and see the pulmonologist then. Thanks.
Stop taking Dulera and consult a treating doctor. Should give detail history of your problem for which you are under treatment. You can consult pulmunologist for examination and advise on treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
