Can EDS Be Related To Puffy Eyes And Swollen Hands Every Early Morning?
Hi for the past year I ve been having more frequent swollen hands and puffiness under eyes in the morning with intermediate left and right side middle back sore tender feeling with a sharp quick pulsating pain feeling that goes around to my side above my hips, Now the Past few weeks I ve been having daily low grade fevers with headaches nausea loss of appetite and ongoing worn down feeling. I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder 2 years ago called Elhers-Danlos Syndrome Hypermobility type3 and have to wonder if something else could be going on thats not related to my EDS with these ongoing symptoms I ve been having?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The symptoms that you have are less likely to be related to EDS. This is suggestive of a generalized viral infection. Taking supportive treatment will be helpful. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
