Hi, Ebast is used to treat various allergic conditions, common cold, cough etc. It relieves symptoms like itching, swelling and rashes. Known to be a piperidine derivative, the medication is non sedating as well as long acting antihistamine. Thus, the medication essentially blocks the action of histamine in the body, reducing the symptoms of an allergy. Take it as prescribed by your doctor. It rarely has any serious side effects and your child may only require to take it on days your child has symptoms. If your child stop taking it earlier than advised, your symptoms may come back.
