Can Ecstasy Or 4-methylmethcathinone Interfere With HPT Results?
I have been sexually active with a woman for over a month now and she has recently told me that she was pregnant. I have been careful with the use of condoms but sometimes got careless. She has taken Ecstacy and a chemical substitute of ecstacy called 4-methylmethcathinone. Could this interfer with the at home pregnancy test results?

Hi..any kind of opioid substance, alcohol or ecstasy or its chemical substitute does not affect urine pregnancy test results in any manner. plus you say that you have been a bit carelss regarding condom use..so in any case if condom usage has been missed even once during a sex episode anytime during the girl's fertile period of the cycle, she may get pregnant.. In case of any doubt however ( although urine pregnancy test is quite reliable) , you can get her a transvaginal ultrasound done to confirm the presence of gestational sac..this would in addition provide the location and viability of the pregnancy..following which you both can take further decision either to continue the pregnancy or to terminate it..
