Can Effexor Be Taken For Hot Flashes?
HI, my GYN, has offered my Effexor for 'hot flashes' and to seek the guidance of my Primary Care first and foremost of course before filling the Script. I am not so sure that I even want to start this med because it is primarily used for "depression" and that is not what I am seeking relief from! I want relief from these hot flashes that I have been dealing with for over 25 years. I am now 64. I will talk with my Primary Care this week first and see what she thinks..... I do already take a seizure med for my chronic nerve pain due to DDD, bone spurs and cervical stenosis in my back which is continually progressing. (please do not send me junk mail or share my email.
