Can Egg White Be Taken In Fluid Form Instead Of Whole Egg?

I have edema in lower legs particularly the right. My GP has asked me to eat two eggs every day and to have a blood test in four weeks. I guess this is to check albumin? I find eatin two eggs a day too much as it is too much on top of my usual healthy diet. Could I take egg white powder in the form of a drink instead? I am various meds for hypertension: Indamapide, Adalat, Candesarten, Nebivivol, plus Naproxen, Lansoprasole and inhalers for asthma and small dose of Amitryptylline.

Hello,

Egg is to be taken whole as every part of it including yellow contains nutrients. But as you are unable to take it wholly, you can take the white in fluid form. The medications you take won't have any interactions with egg.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
