Can Elleste Duet Cont 2 Mg Cause Weight Gain, Mood Swings, Or Depression?
I have just been prescribed elleste duet cont 2 mg. I would like to know if this tablet can cause weight gain, mood swings or depression. I am 55 and have severe hot flushes. I have read other womens reviews on this tablet and now I m not sure I want to take it. Regards Jannette
Hello dear Greetings Regarding whether elleste duet cont causes weight gain mood swings and depression I will suggest that it can cause weight gain but that of mood swings and depression are caused by menopause
Though the use of elleste duet cont is made up of estradiol and norethisterone which is used to treat pre and post menopausal symptoms
I believe with continuous treatment you symptoms will resolve spontaneously
You can see a psychologist for further Councelling and treatment if no improvement in your depression and swing mood
I hope this helps Regards
