Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When the daily RDA for Vitamin E is only 15 to 50 mg, why do drug companies not manufacture to this dosage in capsule form but only in 200 mg, 400 mg, and 600 mg capsule? Is it not toxic to consume even 200 mg capsule daily? Can a diabetic patient take the Evion 200 mg capsule without harm? What if he/she is already taking 15 mg daily in the multivitamin Becadexamin?

Can Evion Be Taken While Suffering From Diabetes?
Hello, Vitamin E capsule is not a routine supplement and it is given only when symptoms of vitamin E deficiency present. For routine use, a supplement can be taken which contain less amount of vitamin E. For vitamin E deficiency, the dose should be above recommended daily intake and so company providing the capsule in mentioned doses. It is antioxidant and can be taken by diabetic also if needed due to vitamin E deficiency. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
