Can Feliz Be Taken To Treat Chronic Depression?

I am using feliz s 10 for last 7 years and presently taking one tab a day earlier two tabs.I was having good relief from depression till about a week when due to some domestic tensions the depression again occurred and starting two tabs again a day. Should I go for change of medicine or pcontinue with this. If change Pl suggest some latest medicines

Feliz contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, it is used to treat anxiety and depression.

Even if you don't abuse a medication and only take it as prescribed, when you have been on it for a long time, your body still gets dependent upon that substance and you will experience some withdrawal effects, if you stop taking it abruptly and they first exactly what you described.

Have you talked to your doctor about stopping your use of it?

Usually these medications need to be tapered and stopped gradually.
