Can Ferium XT Be Given For Teething Symptoms In A Child?

hello doctor can i give my 28 months girl baby weighing 13kg ,ferium xt syrup twice daily.because my baby troubbling with teething.can i give ur not due to reason....my baby behveiour is aggresive and her health down day by day...she is not eating anything...sge is totaly depend on mother feeding

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child is teething and due to which she is having irritable behaviour and she is getting weak which is very common in children in this duration. Need not to worry.
I would suggest you to give good diet to your baby which can boost her immune system. Ferium XT is a combination of iron and folic acid which is good for health. You should give child calcium tablets and do gentle massage of gums with clean cloth. Give her toys to chew on that so that her aggressiveness will be lower down. If the condition will not resolve in 2-3 days consult doctor or dentist to get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly.
