Can Fertomid Be Taken Along With ART Treatment?

Hello Dr,I m 32 yrs of age,I m HIV positive,husband is negative I m on treatment with cd4 count of 740 viral load not detectable.i had an laparoscopic to remove an ovarian cyst,I m having irregular menstrual cycle.We have been trying for a baby for a year with no luck.So I just got fertomid 50 today and I m on my 2nd of my periods .When am I supposed to take fertomid 50 and how many tablets,ND can I take with on Art treatment. reply on YYYY@YYYY or SMS on 0000

Hi.

It is recommended to take 50 mg of the tablet once daily (at the same time, any time of the day) for at least 5 days. It is also considered best to take it on and/or around the 5th day of your cycle, although many doctors recommend a different cycle, but the most common one and also the one I recommend is to take it from the 3rd until the 7th day of your cycle. One tablet of 50 mg orally, once daily.

Keep track of your basal body temperature (BBT) and accordingly plan intercourse. Write to me for an elaborate explanation and guidance, using our premium service.
