Can Flustat Cause False Positive Result For Methamphetamine?
Hi, Im working at a company and sometimes they do random drug tests. Some of my co workers got tested positive for the drug crystal meth. Now,then they went for a second opinion and at our locol clinic and they were also found positive but they were using the Capsule Flustat. According to one of the nurses at the local clinic,she told them that flustat does contain drugs. Is this possibble that they were tested pisitive bexause of flustat?

Hello Dear. Flustat is Paracetamol or Acitaminophen. Its IUPAC name is N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) ethanamide, N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamide.
When the drug gets metabolized in the body it can break into methyl compounts and may get positive drug test. Quite possible.
