Can Fosamax Or Reclast Be Taken While Suffering From Osteoporosis?
Seeing dr. tomorrow had bone density done and do have osteoporosis. I am 77 with scoliosis/kyphosis was 5ft4 and now 4ft9. My exercise is swimming also 2 days per week exercise in pool. BP about 120/70 most of the time. I am trying to decide between Fosamax weekly or Reclast once per yr. I do not like the side effects on either one. I have never broken a bone. I do take 1000mg calcium/600mg vit D , Magnesium 400mg/ and multivit per day. Really? will either of these medicines reverse my bone loss?
