Can Fragmin Cause Nasal Bleeding?

i have just been diagnosed with lung cancer it is a large mass invading the upper lobe bronchus it has spread and i now also have liver metastases i am on all sorts of medication i just got released from the hospital on Tuesday and am on blood thinners (Dalteparin syringe fragmin)because i am going in for a bronchoscopy this tuesday i am on 2.00 ml of morphine for the pain and i have been having nose bleeds and coughing up clotts the paramedics said that it was because i am on blood thinners i am cold and clammy but feeing very warm i am sweating very badly very breathless and my noes bleed was bad and lasted for hours i am a 72 yr old male my DOB is 22/08/1943 (its my birthday in 2 weeks) i am about 15 stone and and abot 5.8 - 6 foot tall

Hi,

Yes, it may be caused by certain psychosomatic issues and in this case, this is not dangerous and there is no need to be concerned. However, some organic issues should be ruled out such as hypertension, nose polyps, sinusitis- So she should see ENT doctor for further evaluation. Also deviated septum may be present in some cases and it should be properly treated.
