Can Fucidin Cream Be Applied On A Small Bump Around The Anus?

Hi I woke up this morning with a smallish bump on the top right part of my bum where my crack starts. it is not super painful but I can definitely feel it! I am a little worried as to what it is , I have never had that before! I am already on minoclycline and I use a fucide cream on my face. By using the minocycline and if I start applying the fucide cream on the area, would it help?

Fucidin cream contains 'fusidic acid', which used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria. It is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that is often used topically in creams.
What you are complaining of the small bump around the anus appears to be infection of the skin like boil. You can safely use this cream in the area.
Make sure that you maintain good personal hygiene by washing the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine or Savlon and then apply the cream.
