Can Fudic BNF Cream Provide Lifelong Cure For Leg Infection Symptoms?
I have an infection in my leg, which have swelling, itching in it and i I scratch it a liquid comes from it. Sometimes it looks like dry and itchy, and I thought maybe it is resolved, but then it again appear like a Burned wound.... Doc suggested me to have fudic bnf cream.... May I cure for whole life?
Fusidic acid is an antibiotic cream to treat mild skin infections. It does not treat the infection for life, but it's meant to treat this particular episode only. There is no medical way of guaranteeing that an infection won't come back. If Fusidic acid cream doesn't work then please let your doctor know so that you can be switched to an oral antibiotic such as flucloxacillin.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
