Can Gabapentin Cause Chills At Night?

I take gabapentin before going to bed. I sometimes wake up past the time I was due for the next dose. I get severe chills so I double up on my dosage. If I don t double up I still have the chills. What is the best way to handle this ? Thank you Joe
