Can Gestin Be Taken During Pregnancy For The Treatment Of Uterine Fibroids?

Good day. I m in my 11th week of pregnancy with fibroids. Doc said I have a threaten pregnancy cis i spotted in my 6th week .Right now i see light brown spots once in a while.I did scan 3days ago, baby is fine with fetal heart beat doc has prescribed progesterone injection once a week which I adhere to.My sis in law told me about gestin tablet which she said she took during her pregnancy she had fibroids too . Is it d drug safe?

You can continue gestin. It is a progestin drug and it is safe in pregnancy. It will not harm the baby.
