Hello,

Glimisave contains glimepiride which you are already taking.
Glycomet GP3 contains glimepiride and metformin.
Had you been my patient, I'd have suggested either an increase in the dose of your mixtard or would have changed your insulin altogether because if after taking glycomet Gp3/850 and mixtard your fasting and PP is 180 and 230 respectively, your treatment certainly needs a review.
So I'd suggest consulting your diabetologist for a follow-up and please do not pay heed to your relatives in matters of medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
