General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that there are negligible reports of passing HIV through oral route in the medical literature. Saliva contains an enzyme that does prevent. So No need to worry. But one should always be wary of such risky behavior.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
