Can HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Sexual Intercourse?

after sexual intercourse with prostitute, at the time of removing condom i touch my penis immediately after touching some pre vaginal fluids(which must be on outer side of condom) and i rubbed my hand on my pre cum..i did not ejaculate,is there any hiv tranmission..thanks for your consideration pls help me i am very nervous,

Hello,

Since you had pre-vaginal fluid in your fingers, if your fingers had even small microscopic cut or abrasion, you are prone to the disease. Intact skin does not allow HIV to get into the body. HIV enters through mucous membranes, cuts, abrasions or sores.

However, having intercourse with a sex worker is not safe & makes you prone to STD. You are suggested to get STD tests & HIV test done to stay on the safer side.

Get clinically examined by a GP. You may need PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) within 72 hours of exposure. You may need antiretroviral (ART) medicines urgently.
