Can HIV Be Detected In The Future Despite Present Negative Findings?

hai my name is samer i had an intercourse with a women nearly 22 months back and all my test related to hiv like -elisa -1 once, western blot -3 thrice and hiv1 rna-1 once have been negative and non reactive all this is done .. is there any chances or getting detected near in future

Hello,

If the tests have shown negative means you are negative of HIV. Generally, the window period is only six months, and you were negative even after 22 months, and that too with three different types of tests. So as per my opinion as per the information provided by you, you are negative.

No, absolutely not. Twenty-two months is too much time, and which has crossed the maximum incubation period of HIV. But one piece of advice even one unprotected sex can cause HIV or AIDS. So always 'condom' your sexual activity.
