Can Hashimoto S Thyroiditis Be Treated Naturally?

My world just collapsed. My daughter got diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis at 24 years old. Is there any natural treatment like exercise, loosing wait, changing food, etc. to treat this?She gain weight 50 lb in the last 2 years. 2 months ago one doctor gave her a medicine for mild depression fo having some more energy and after one month of taking it she start having hives on her body, allergies and she s taking Benadril and Zirteck. Help.

For depression regular exercise is natural treatment....

Support her and engage her in some daily activities to avoid depression...

As far as hashimoto thyroidotis is concerned investigate with serum TSH and free T4 estimation....

If hypothyroidism present than treated accordingly with levothyroxine tablet according to TSH level...

The dose of levothyroxine adjusted according to TSH level

In this disorder aim is to keep TSH level between two to three....

Consult endocrinologist with keeping this in mind
