Can Hydromorphine Be Taken For Joint Pain While Suffering From Scleroderma?
I have scleroderma and ra. Prescribed fentnyl patches for 2 years for pain. Been through many other narcotic drugs but stopped after 4 pseudo obstructions. Always given hydromorphine in hospital. Relieves pain but if only taken at night when pain is at it s worse it does not cause constipation. Is this a safe way to use drug? What s the best strength? Thanks

Hydromorphone is an opioid analgesic. Its main disadvantage is addiction and dependence. Dose-oral 2-4 mg as a required basis should be the preferred option.
