Can I Ask A Doctor To Check If The Treatment Advised Is Correct ?
Hi, I m 38 year old female. In my blood work TSH+free T4 shows 8.120 and T4, fee(Direct) shows 1.19 there is another test TSH Rfx on Abnormal to free T4 shows TSH 7.690 and free T4(Direct) 1.28. What are these 2 tests and why these 2 differ in values? I ve started taking Gaia Herbs Thyroid Support. Is it ok to go ahead with is for a while ?

This are thyroid function test and are done to measure function of thyroid gland in your body.TSH high that is suggestive that you gland is not producing sufficient amount hormone in your body and you need to supplement tablets for same.
