Hi,i m 27 female and i m suffering with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.I m going through my chemo treatment..just completed first stage of my chemo therapy..My query is it safe for me to intimate with my boyfriend physically..is it safe to have french kiss...?

During therapy your blood counts drop and it would be better not to be intimate during that period as your resistance is low during that period and you are likely to catch infection. When counts are low, even organisms which are harmless to normal people can again entry into circulation and cause sepsis. That is why strict precautions are advised during therapy. Once the count has recovered, you are as healthy as any other person and there are no restrictions.
